Mr. Henderson is Vice President and Head of Analytic Intelligence for Arcanum, where he is responsible for the design and execution of intelligence analysis for private sector clients. He directs multi-source intelligence analysis by fusing the fast-growing open source environment with Arcanum’s on-the-ground access and influence. He brings over 25 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Government.
He has served in various leadership positions in the CIA, including as Chief of Intelligence Analysis for Europe and Eurasia Mission Center where he led the Agency’s analytic mission examining regional wartime developments and their impact on Allies among other geopolitical priorities.
He has held numerous other key positions within the Agency, including as: Chief of Intelligence Analysis, Western Hemisphere Mission Center; Intelligence Analysis & Operations Department Chief for South Asia Mission Center; Deputy Chief of Analysis South and Central Asia Mission Center; Chief of Staff of Middle East Warzone for the Directorate of Operations; Deputy Intelligence Analysis Group Chief at Counterterrorism Center. During his tenure, he served abroad on behalf of the CIA and the US State Department in a series of leadership roles in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
Before joining Arcanum, he served as Program Director at the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (C4ADS), where he led a dynamic unit focused on mining big data and leveraging technology to produce data-driven reports for US and global partners. His achievements include overseeing the growth of a multi-million-dollar program focused on supply chain analysis and countering sanctions evasion; conducting analytic training for the Ukrainian Government; and leading a flurry of analytic investigations that led to a high volume of international sanctions designations for bad actors fueling conflict worldwide.
He received his MA in National Security Studies at Georgetown University.
